Donner Lake is a nice quiet lake near the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Boating, fishing and waterskiing are popular lake activities. Donner Lake is located in the town of Truckee which has a great historic downtown with nice shops and restaurants. Minutes to Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Tahoe Donner and Borreal ski areas.
